NDIS support · Sunshine Coast

Living fully,
supported gently.

We're a small support team on the Sunshine Coast, and we build our support around the life you actually want to live. Familiar faces, real conversations and a hand with the things that matter to you, at home and out in the world.

Our story

Six years supporting people, now doing it properly.

After six years working in disability support, Renee started Salt & Soul because she wanted to do it differently. Less rushing, fewer unfamiliar faces turning up at the door, and a lot more time actually spent with the people she supports.

We're a team of three, and that's on purpose. It means you see the same people each week, we learn what matters to you and what doesn't, and support becomes a real relationship rather than a list of tasks to get through before the next visit.

More than the everyday

Support that gets you out living

Support should be about your whole life, not just getting through the day. Here are some of the things we get up to with the people we support.

  • Surfing and the beach
  • Gym and staying active
  • Camping and the outdoors
  • Mountain hikes
  • Cooking together
  • Arts and crafts
  • Concerts and shows
  • Bike rides and picnics
  • Coffee and catch-ups
  • Community events
  • Trying new things

And whatever else you love. Every person is different, so we build support around what actually lights you up.

The people

A small team who show up

You'll see the same workers regularly, which is rather the point. Getting to know each other properly is what makes good support possible.

What families say

My daughter has had support through Salt & Soul for a few months now and we are so happy with the calm and caring support that she receives. Her support worker has built a beautiful rapport with her and our experience with this company has been nothing but positive so far. Highly recommend!

Michelle English

Since Renee started caring for Derek in 2023, in addition to being extremely proficient and reliable, she's also brought joy and light into our lives. Derek believes Renee is one of the best carers he's ever had, with a soft and loving soul. With Derek's changing and increasingly complex needs, Renee has been adaptable, insightful and capable. These skills and qualities are also embodied in the team that Renee leads, bringing great comfort and reassurance to us.

Good to know

Questions people often ask

Yes. We keep our team small on purpose, so we take on a limited number of participants at a time to make sure everyone gets proper, consistent support. Get in touch and we'll let you know how we're placed.

We support people right across the Sunshine Coast, in their homes and out in the community.

We work with participants who are plan-managed or self-managed. If you're not sure how your plan works or what it covers, that's completely fine, we're happy to talk it through with you.

It starts with a chat, no pressure. We'll talk about what you're looking for, what matters to you, and whether we're the right fit. From there we take it at your pace.

As much as possible, yes. That's the whole reason we stay small. Seeing familiar faces and building a real relationship is what makes support actually work.

All sorts. From everyday tasks and appointments to getting out and doing things you love, surfing, the gym, coffee, community events, hobbies. Support should be about living your life, not just getting through the day.
